Project Management

In 2007 Roar Marketing project managed a substantial business opportunity on behalf of one of our clients; who did not have the necessary manpower in-house.  This involved working with a major high street retailer, advising them and managing all communication with around 20 different suppliers.  We worked with people at all levels and in various departments both at our client company and at the retailer.  Roar Marketing was awarded this contract having worked on a similar project with our client in the past and they valued our proven project management skills, our ability to get people to work together and our attention to detail which was vital for this project to succeed within very tight timescales.  This project utilised our branding, project management and marketing planning skills.

Strategic Business Planning

Our client contacted us because they realised that their market was changing, sales were in decline and they knew they needed to change but didn't quite know how.  We helped them through a strategic planning process which resulted in a major change to their sales strategy which they have now implemented.  Roar Marketing has helped this client to become more structured about business planning and procedures and helped the owners and senior managers to work as a more professional management team.  Monthly "board-style" meetings, run by Roar Marketing, and other operational meetings were put in place as well as the regular review of a small number of key performance figures which they have found very beneficial.

New Catalogue New Way of Selling

This client wanted to rely less on face-to-face selling and do more direct marketing.  They had a catalogue which was poorly designed and difficult for customers to buy from without the help of a sales representative.  The new catalogue has products clearly laid out, there is a strong corporate image and style which is being used on other marketing literature.  Products were given range names to help customers find the best product for them more easily, each product has a picture and each product has features and benefits text - written by Roar Marketing and one of the client's team who was mentored and coached through the whole catalogue production process.  We also worked on a campaign to clean their database for more cost-effective direct marketing.  To date Roar Marketing has worked with this client on their 2007 and 2008 catalogues.

New Company To Attract New Customers

As part of their strategic plan one of Roar's existing clients, who has been in business for 40 years in the business to business sector, saw an opportunity to enter the business to consumer market.  To do this they decided they needed a completely new sales team, a completely new brand and corporate identity, and a completely different company structure to target this new market.

Roar Marketing has helped them to very quickly develop a new corporate identity, which appeals directly to their target market, create a marketing plan and begin to implement this with several marketing tools and a new website being launched all within four months of the decision to go ahead.  Roar is pleased to be working with both the existing and new companies.
